The Quiet

A semi-silent weekend for women

Nov 20-22, 2026 · Gibsons, BC

In the quiet, something shifts.

An invitation to step away from the noise, the notifications, the conversations and the constant pull of what to do next.

For one late-November weekend, we gather intentionally in a beautiful home above the ocean to step into a different rhythm.

Your phone is put away. The outside urgencies begin to soften. A space within you opens and you are invited in to listen;

To your heart’s desire. To your body. To the quiet wisdom that has been there all along.

This is an opportunity to befriend your own mind and body - to trust yourself again.

Through yoga, meditation, conscious connected breathwork and periods of sacred stillness, we practice listening differently.

We let nourishing food, the ocean, firelight, rest, and silence become part of the practice.

No longer searching for clarity outside of ourselves, but becoming quiet enough to hear what is already there.

For a portion of our weekend, we enter into Noble Silence.

Phones are put away, conversations pause, and demands of the outside world are given permission to wait. You are free to move slowly through the days - to practice, eat, rest, read by the fire, journal, walk to the beach and simply be.

We begin and end the weekend together in conversation and connection. The silence lives in between, held intentionally, giving you a rare opportunity of being in community without needing to engage.

🌱The Setting

Our retreat home sits above the ocean on a quiet waterfront street in Gibsons, beside a meandering trail and a short walk from Bonniebrook Beach.

November invites us inward. There is a fire to gather near, a dedicated loft space for our practices, cozy places to curl up with a book or journal, and the shoreline just beyond the door when you want fresh air and space to wander.

You won’t need to drive anywhere all weekend - and you likely won’t want to.

🧘🏻‍♀️What Noble Silence means

Silence here is intentional, but never rigid. From Friday evening until Sunday morning, we refrain from unnecessary conversation and allow for social noise to fall away.

Your host, Jenna, will share minimal cues during yoga and meditation and she will make sure you have all the information you need to know what’s happening next. We share meals quietly. We move around the house and grounds freely. We simply spend time in our own company — while being supported by the presence of other women doing the same.

And of course, if you have a question or simply need support, you can always speak.

You don’t need any experience with silence or meditation. You only need willingness and curiosity about what might arise when things become quiet.

Come with your book, your journal and your most cozy sweater.

Come ready to put your phone away for a little while.

We’ll take care of the rest.

With any questions, please reach out to Jenna directly.
