Thank you for being You.

Honestly? There has never been a better time to be more healthy. In the last handful of years, I have witnessed more uncertainty, insecurity, overwhelm, worry, and fear than ever before.

The access our minds and fingertips have to global events and thoughts can wreak havoc on our minds and bodies. It is imperative, now, to take extra good care of ourselves, being mindful to balance out or worry with hope and inspiration. to balance out our fear with love and courage.

How?

  • good food (I mean from the earth and variety)

  • plenty of rest (beyond netflix + chill. Find nourishment.)

  • deep, dark, uninterrupted sleeps

  • daily joys

  • raw yoga

  • regular movement

  • time in nature

  • inward attention (listening to your heart + desires)

So okay, there’s a lot of free yoga and meditation content out there online. And some of it is great!…while more of it is not. It takes time to sift through to find what you are really needing and looking for.

There are so many 10-15 minute classes out there that move you physically and draw you into the importance of daily practice. There are also a lot of 10-15 minute practices out there that perpetuate the frantic, un-grounded, heightened stresses of our current times..you must choose wisely.

What I personally know about Yoga is that it is SO much more than a superficial movement-based practice and to-do-list kind of thing.

Yoga is old, ancient, and lasting. It is a lifestyle. One that’s been around for many many years and has withheld all the fads and trends.. It stands the ultimate test of time because it touches you internally. It unlocks your inner demons and inspires your heart to swell and sing.

This depth requires time, dedication, consistency, the right teacher, and your full attention to find the exciting benefits that can move mountains.

As a yoga teacher, I have to say that I find myself on both sides; I appreciate the quick 15 minute morning sequences that help me breathe, wake-up, and set an intention for my day… And I also require my regular, 2 hour ceremonious, tea-loving, chanting, emotion-filled, feel-good, cleansing and moving, raw yoga practice that leaves me feeling like the most true version of myself.

Yoga is more than movement….and this is what i’m inviting you to experience.

Please join us for 2 hours, every other month, at sunrise….to de-layer, de-stress, and un-wind from the dramas of present moment importance. We will slowly and deliberately come back into our bodies to reset, re-callibrate, and find momentum to move forward.
